Poem -

Ying to my Yang

Ying to my Yang

When you died,
part of me died too.
you know the part of me,
that was created with you.
we grew into two,
The ying to my yang.
you finished my sentences,
together we sang.
we made memories to cherish,
we travelled far and wide.
and now never to be,
Again by my side.
I miss your smile,
And your protective ways.
I wish you were living,
and here today.

Thank you marion. This one I think a lot of people can relate to. I wrote this with a relative in mind who lost their partner.

Written After watching a family member suffer the loss of a partner. I think it reads the heartache she endured during the sad time. Thanks for your positive feedback x
