Who shines in shades of blueÂ
Gravitate my heart towards your wondrous lightÂ
So I may bask in your sensual streamsÂ
Permeate my skinÂ
Feed and seed the love withinÂ
For I am compelled to be yoursÂ
The stars chart a courseÂ
Which leads me to your sourceÂ
A force I cannot resistÂ
Destined to surrender -
Unable to dismissÂ
The warmth I feel from your heavenly blissÂ
Let me sink into your gazeÂ
Trace the contours of your raysÂ
Bathe in what I crave-
And know to be true
The essence of loveÂ
The light that is YOU

A real sense of yearning and longing in this Gwen...so cleverly written that it could have several meanings...it works for things lost and things desired... but it is about love, a deep and soulful love and it is a very beautiful write â¤ď¸Â

GWEN!!...so glad I went back and caught this beautifully crafted poem......Love poems are NOT easy to sculpt......I always feel like what I'm writing has been written before when attempting to write a Love Poem....but this....this is truly original....in its lovely phrasing, its original rhyme scheme and uniquely carved poetic architecture!!.....PINNED for originality.......I LOVE this write dear poet sister!!......Bravo!!.....LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo : )

Wow, Gwen! Simply stunning here. Sometimes, explaining emotions such as the essence of love can be so dynamically fluid. And you applied this attribute accordingly throughout... I feel as if I was drifting through the ocean with this one. Fantastic work
