Chase the face
That still stares
Pretending to care
Leaving you bare
Always playing unfair
Do you dare?
As it tears

It's a layer
On top of
The real you
So just stop
Pick yourself up
Quit laying down
Raise your head
And climb to
The top again
Drop your insecurities
Let them escape
Your worthy skin
You're worth it
Regardless your sin
Forgive the ones
Forgive yourself too
Wipe that face
Covering up yours
And take control
We both know
You deserve to
