Before You

I realize now that before I met you , I knew nothing of life . I knew not of love, hope , hurt , pain and strife . I never knew the volumes a smile can speak . And all languages can understand it , yes a simple smile is universal . Falling in love is a perfect combination of all things . Happiness , fear , and attachment . I now find myself peering around the corner , beginning to peak . With no regrets and no looking back . Like a mustang running relentlessly  In The wind . I know now that all I need is you . There is nothing left to find . No more worries, because I know exactly what I want. for once in my life , I'm not looking back . Only forward and I know it's the right thing to do . I have not only learned about you , but about  life and feelings , and about myself . Before I met you , I thought there was nothing That  I could do . I'll tell you ; You are not an abandoned car sitting empty on some highway  or the lone branch on a old tree , but you are the last leaf holding on , griping through the wind . and even though it may seem to be the season to let go and everyone seems to be watching , to be waiting for you  to just let go , you don't . That's why your perfect . That's why you're amazing . You are the water in the crest of the wave . life couldn't be the same without you . you are the clouds surrounding the sunset , creating a mirage of orange and pink leaving the world to find the answer to the unstated question .
