Poem -

You and I

Come and Go

This world is full of the
Once Born
But you and I we come and go
We ebb and flow
Fighting the tides and the undertow
And the Gods take us where we should go
Like feathers where the wind will blow
So brief this life yet this path so slow
But oh the things we know
The wonders that they show
The warmth of their glow
Even from so far below
Even from down here so low
On and on we go
Higher and higher we grow
And the Once Born will never know
So they panic here below
As with the rivers we flow
Another life, another show
Another moment with the one I know
Ask me to do it again? Let's go. Let's go!
