When times got a little troubled

For doing everything wrong
I looked at the hardships, troubles
And worried, what can I do?
That's just where the enemy wanted me
Keeping my eyes off of You!
I asked for Your forgiveness
As I lifted up a prayer
God, help me believe, trust in You
In a God who's always there
I lifted my eyes to heaven
I said; I know You'll get me through
I sang a song of gratefulness
I put my eyes back on You
Will there be hard times, Lord? Sure!
But don't worry about what I will do
I put my trust and faith in God
To a God who gets you through
He promised comfort in our tomorrows
Strength for each new day
Grace and encouragement
To guide us on our way
