I have long since felt that aching
That makes me feel
My heart breaking.
I’ve even forgotten that you were ever real.

I shouldn’t have come to the place
Where I first felt that ache
This place will forever lace
The deepest of my memories, while it’s like a snake
That wines and twines into my heart.

Yet I have lingered here
In the place of deadly sin.
This is where you sent a spear
That seared the humanity strait from my soul; my skin
Turned into something that now hides a black heart.

Now the wind blows hate into the empty shell
I used to be. You too are now here
In this place; you say if I do this then I’m going to hell

I look at you and think
What a shame you couldn’t just stay mine
With that I watch my very real dagger sink
Straight in, breaking your heart as you once broke mine
