You Don’t Need Words

     I forget what I wanted to say today
so I said very little 
don’t get me wrong I’ve been thinking 
How life is a funny riddle 
     I forgot to say anything at all today
so I said nothing 
There were a few songs 
that I sang alone 
and I did a little ditty 
     I forgot to touch anyone today 
I did change the bath for the birds 
sometimes there’s just nothing to say 
you don’t need words
