I'm so broken hearted,
This is what comes of being so guarded,
Though if someone truly loved you,
They would not do you this way.
Everything I was afraid of,
Is what I'm now faced with,
Four years of lies no honestly,
Don't think she ever truly loved me.
This life I don't understand it,
Seriously, what am I here for?
It seems that every corner I turn,
I'm greeted by another slammed door.
No wonder I trust no one,
They never stick around,
I've never had foundations,
No solid ground,
Never before have I been able to call someone my own,
They always leave me behind,
Broken hearted & alone.
Why do I give so many chances,
I should have walked away,
Guess it's because I'm naive enough to believe they'll stay.
I cannot go through this again,
My time on love is done,
The cheating & dishonesty once again have won.
