Young hearts run free ❤️

Young hearts run free ❤️

I may be sixty two but my mind thinks childishly

Roamin’ in the gloamin’ where young hearts run free

Blowin’ betwixt breezes like bubbles thru the air

I refuse to grow old gracefully without colouring my hair

Haha I still try to frolic like a fawn in a field

Tho these days my bodily aches and pains are revealed

Yet what can one expect, I have been around for a while

And nowadays there are cracks and creases in the corners of my smile

But hey ho I will never act my age

I will always jump around like a monkey in a cage

And just like that funny creature hanging upsidedown from a tree

When she looks absolutely hilarious, haha that monkey will be me...
