Your Broken Heart

Your Broken Heart

Your Broken Heart

Don’t you dare say that I don’t love you
You know in your heart that isn’t true

Flow many tears of your anguish and pain
You are sad and that’s a crying shame

Your sadness often turns to lonely tears
Afraid you’ve given up all the good years

There’s a constant aching within your heart
When you a love seen to be world’s apart

I heard the sky lark calling your name
Without you life just wouldn’t be the same

You had true love once but you let it go
It got lost somewhere in the bitter snow

Wish you had the wings of an angel so you could fly
And give all of your troubles a final kiss goodbye

Your broken heart so full of sadness and despair
You only want to know that somebody cares

You feel your aching heart is on a sea of no return
You light your old love letters to watch them burn

Don’t believe that all has come to it’s bitter end
For even your broken heart has the power to mend

Pray that you are in the good graces of the Lord above
How you wish you were drowning in the sea of love

Simply part night’s veil and you may discover
That you are in the loving arms of a new lover

Hope you find all of the love you desire in another’s heart
And that love will never spread it’s wings and part
