Your Destiny . . . . .

Your Destiny . . . . .

When I shuffled thro' my playing cards, the crowd
called out for more but the chances were poor;
what do you hold in your hand, your own destiny,
you could change all in a flash but now you won't.

I tried many times, it didn't work, but it propelled
me to a different dimension which had to be better,
it had to be my good fortune which I had to make work,
I did, there are no guarantees, only pitfalls on the way.

Some said that I was a 'lucky bugger,' what luck?
Out of the frying pan into the fire, stay and solve,
stay and solve - solve what? Okay for while, then same,
don't look for perfection, a balance, knowing when it's right.

They said there is no reason, the truth is plain to see,
take charge of your life, then you could be lucky like me.
