YOUR YELLOW ROSE

YOUR YELLOW ROSE

Today i was given some ashes
Of yours my dearest friend
I planted you a yellow rose bush
So i will bury them with it, to blend
The rose has bloomed so lovely
For two years since your gone
With your ashes in the earth now
More beauty will be shone.
I shed tears as i look back
Reflecting on times together
I was`nt expecting you to go
I thought we had a lifetime, forever!
But now you are back here near me
In the earth in sweet repose
You will flourish, i have no doubt!
Beneath your favorite. Your Yellow Rose.

Hi Tony Yes this is true it happened an hour or so before
i wrote the poem,I had bought the rose as a memorial
symbol to her and the picture here is her rose, her husband
only today fetched some of her ashes and i did bury them beneath
the rose there were tears but i feel there is a part of her near
although i feel her round me often,Thank you so much
for commenting on this it means a lot to me
Hugs Debs xo

Hi dear Debs,

Awww.  So touching, brought tears to my eyes, for I have some sixteen month old ashes too;  that, as yours, came unexpectedly.  They rest on my loves shrine in our bedroom.  We pray and sing to them every day.  A rose is a rose is a rose.  Very nice Debs.

Hugs, Peace and Love,

xox Larry

Hi  Larry My friends favorite flower was a yellow rose I thought
it fitting to bury her ashes there and the rose in my picture is
just outside my front door as i constant memorial to her
we all have our own way in remembering our lost loved ones
its showing how much we love and miss them,
Thanks for your comments they mean a lot
love and hugs Debs xox
