Poem -

You're Gone

You're Gone

Tears take a stroll upon my already wet cheeks
This heart is heavy with raw emotion tonight
Where have you gone too my dearest friend
Without your words my scribbles aren't the same
.
How long have you been gone, days, weeks?
None of my scribble without you feel right
Hoping I will find you miraculously in the end
An impossible task without your name
.
Your words were exquisite and timeless antiques
I would have died to save you from your plight
Heart has a longing the brain can’t comprehend
Come back to me, please rekindle our flame...
