You're Something to Love
(Hate)

All your colors taste expensive,
Black and blue,
But gold accented,
Rust and rose
But crimson tinted
All your wines are age fermented,
Clean and dry,
But deep and dark,
Your mind is a closet-- scary,
But beautiful.
Hurt me,
Slowly-- your teeth are knives,
Sharp as gleaming steel,
But beautiful.
Empty as a black lake--
Ink poured by God--
Your soul is a void,
Devoid,
Of any joy.
But I love it,
I love the blankness.
I love your emptiness.
I love your malevolence.
I love your enviousness.
I, love, you.
Because I need you--
You're
something
to hate.
