Yuletide Blessings
Solstice brings winter near
To celebrate Christmas cheer
Mistletoe hung for kisses nigh
Echoes of carolers passing by
A tree alight with baubles fair
Hopes of Santa to soon be there
Presents adorned inΒ wrapping and bow
Outside grounds spangle of snow
Eggnog and pumpkin pie
To tempt family with discerning eye
Turkey and holiday feast
Enough to tame the savage beast
Deck the halls withΒ strands of holly
Singing songs just to be jolly
But most of all a family to share
Memories and love in the air
