Zebidee & Marmalade đź’•đź’•

Zebidee & Marmalade đź’•đź’•

Zebidee and Marmalade are a most  mismatched peculiar pair

Zebidee is completely bald with strands of blue, whilst Marm had orange spikey hair

They live amongst a hollow wood, tis two homes made from oak stumps

It is so hard to get in them that their heads are bruised with bumps

They live so close together, so they often get confused

That they share all the items in each abode and everything is well used

This makes them very stinky, coz they do not like to wash

So people that pass by these stumps, nip their noses and say “Oh my goodness Golly Gosh”

“What is this whiff, what is that pong, whatever can it be?”

“It is the most disgusting smell, we think It must be foxes wee”

Well zebidee and Marmalade, they are never gonna change

The thought of cleaning up a mess does seem so very strange

So every morn they give a yawn and eat some bugs and fleas

They have a years supply of these delicious bugs, hidden in a closet in the trees

So any creepy crawly
that does land upon the grassy ground

Is gobbled up so greedily, whilst they run and prance around

They look so strange and unusually odd and are so different from each other

Which is quite a marvel and surprise, coz they share the same small mother

There was a time I can recall and It was’nt that long ago

I heard they got trapped in for weeks, So the tree stumps got covered up with snow

Till the weather changed and all the snow did thaw

It melted just in time you know, coz the mucky stench upon the floor

Was changing into slime, they were both slipping and a-sliding

Falling hard upon the floor, poor Zeb crashed into Marm and made the two of them so sore

“Oh Wo is me” they both did cry, this really is not funny

But then the two of them agreed the slime did taste like honey

Yum yum they licked and swallowed up the mess from on the filthy floor

The slime was such a yummy delight, so they went out hunting for some more

Now if you go a-walking and you notice two oak little stumps

If you care to look inside, thats if you are brave enough, you may find just these curious lumps

Don’t be alarmed, don’t get a fright, please do not even scream!!!
The things that look the scariest are not always what they seem…
