Adventures of Boris bat.

Boris was a little bat with super sonic hearing
every time he tried to sleep, the poor little fella
Needed cheering
His mother would tell him stories, about the great divide
He'd cling to her in comfort, his siblings by his side
He wasn't afraid of the darkness, he wasn't afraid of the light
Just the sounds in the distance causing
him a fright
Some noises were loud and creepy, some noises were strange and soft
He hid beneath his mother's wings, right there in the croft
His mother would tell of adventures, happy safe and sound
As they hug there in the tallest tree
High above the ground
Until one day he fell from the tree, spreading his tiny wings
This is where the true adventure of little boris begins.....
boris stood up within the darkness, looked around to see
His mother and his siblings high within the tree
He heard a noise close by and saw a shadow on the ground, with great big and glowing eyes
and a familiar sound
It was an alley cat that wandered in the nightÂ
The sound that was familiar, not scary in the light
Boris bat moved closer
And with his eyes could see, an owl in the distance another sound yippee
Although he was so tiny
And a little afraid to hear
He knew his mother was close by, he need not shed a tear
Boris bat, a tiny bat
Often full of fear, got more and more excited
Each sound becoming clear
Boris walked just left of the tree, surprised at which his eyes could see
A farmer's house with a big door bell, and a chimney stack in which he could smell
The burning fire from
the coldÂ
This story now nearing and end to be told
Boris heard another sound, amongst the trees upon the ground
A little mouse lay squeaking hidden by the tree, underneath a leaf , where no one else could see
The owl was chasing the mouse and so was the cat, all familiar sounds
Scaring Boris bat
So now his adventure comes to an end
Returning home to his mother's side, brave enough to venture out
Strong enough with pride
Snuggled up with his mother safe, his siblings by his side
Not afraid of the darkness, not afraid of the light
Closed his eyes to dream of adventures, within the tree wrapped tight
No longer afraid of the noises, once causing him a fright
Little Boris could finally sleep....... goodnight.
