Caged Highway 666 Chapter 2

   The door slung open and I thought "this was it, I had to do something" so I bent down next to a old wooded table and made no sound, the giant man
walked right up to the cage I was in, and never even noticed I wasn't in it. He pulled a set of large looking keys from his pocket and unlocked the cage
next to the one I was in and grabbed the older woman that was lifeless and he tossed her over his shoulder, these women made no sounds at all.
As he was leaving he stopped an  stood at the doorway. Then he grunted and walked out. It was time to get out of here. I tried opening the cage
closest to me, but it wouldn't budge so I slowly walked to the door leading out and placed my ear against it very quietly to listen for any sounds.
I could hear a saw running and the smell that was lingering was horrid, like flesh being burnt. I slowly reached for the doorknob an twisted it very slowly as the door opened the door squeaked just a bit and I slowly walked forward, I peeked around the door before opening it all the way and I could see a table with a candle burning.  It gave off very little light, so I slowly stepped through only opening the door enough for me to get through. The walls were deep dark red with so many cobwebs and there were pictures of a disfigured child in them, I wondered  if this was the man who had theses women in cages. I came to a doorway where I could see a little light, but then I realized the saw had stopped, maybe he was coming back, I needed to hide quick. I looked to the right and the left and saw a little closet door next to the doorway I quickly opened the door and got inside, there where peoples skin hanging on hangers like they where clothes. I gasped and felt nauseous, and wanted to be home. Who could kill people and hang there skin in a closet. "These people had to be crazy." 
  I didn't see or hear anything for a few minutes, then I could hear a woman screaming and the sound of chains clanging against the floor. I slowly open the door and hurried  to the doorway where there was an old floor model t.v. setting against the back wall, the window above the t.v. was boarded up and there was an old rocking chair next to a small table with jars of eye balls and what looked to be peoples teeth. I had to find a way out.
I crept through the living room to a hallway that looked like a small kitchen, there was a freezer next to a door that had a huge lock on it. I moved forward and had no idea where the big man was, then out of nowhere I seen a shadow from the other side of the room in the kitchen and I had to act quick, so I quickly got back to the closet where the human skin was handing. The closet door had slits in it so I could see a little and as the shadow got close I saw the huge disfigured man with sores upon his face and he was much bigger than when I saw him in the cage. The grotesque man stopped right in front of the closet where I was, and grunted and snorted and moved into the hallway where I had come from. It was now or never to get out, I listened for the door to slam then I was running for it. 
  The door slammed shut and I ran towards the door next to the kitchen and it was open, but as I stepped out of the door, I saw a body cut in half lying on 
a man made tree table, it was covered in blood and the guts of a human lay stretched across a clothes line, and the head of a man was hanging  on a fence post, The horrid scream hurt my ears and I knew that the man finally realized I was gone. I ran across the bloody yard and ducked under the fence which caught my arms and then the man busted through the door screaming and yelling and I stopped dead in my tracks. The man looked straight at me but hurried to the out house next to his house, I quickly ran into the woods and I could still here the man screaming, not words but just screaming. I ran so fast hoping to find a road. I came to a creek, and I stopped for one second to catch my breath, when I heard the limbs breaking behind me. So I ran to the left of the creek and it came by a dirt road. I didn't want the man to find me so I stayed off the road but also where I could see it. The sounds around me stopped I went numb and got so dizzy I fell face first into the dirt and leaves.
 When I came to and it was dark, I didn't realize I was bleeding out. I was covered in blood and I was feeling very sick, almost like when you have a very bad
stomach virus. I looked down at my legs and they looked like someone had drawn black lines everywhere on my legs, but my side hurt the most. As I fill my ribs I could  fill something, I had been stitched up from the arm pit to the groin "what did he do to me I thought" I was fading in and out, my vision was getting blurry and I was filling really warm all over. I had to keep going for Nathan but I didn't want him growing up without a mother. I shook my head and kept going till I came across a rail road sign. I crossed the train tracks and came upon a River, but It was over the bank so I set down on my bottom and started sliding down the bank.I reached for my ribs, because the pain was getting worse "How can I keep going" Again Nathan popped into my head and I stood up and fell back down. Blood was seeping out of the stitches and the pain inside was horrible. I set there on the riverside for a few minutes and my heart was pounding  so hard that it was hard to breath.
  I thought that I heard a vehicle, but It was only an airplane. I stood up and kept following the river and I could see a fishing boat out in the distance, I tried to wave at them but they didn't  see me, so I decided  to scream. I screamed so loud that I fainted and fell forward.
The fisherman saw me, and they came over to the edge where I had fallen and they must of placed me in the boat and took me to the hospital.
