Concha Y Toro Flying Saucers

The events in this story occurred in a small village inside of the Concha y Toro vineyard in Puente Alto, Santiago, Chile. There were about 15 houses, all of them separated by a long distance, and there was just one street that crossed the complete vineyard village.

My mother has four siblings, and they were all living at home with my grandparents at the time of this story. The first paranormal experience occurred when my mother was about 9 years old. It was early morning and all seven of them were sleeping. Suddenly, something interrupted their sleep. It felt like the sun was shining very brightly.

They got out of their beds because they knew that something strange was going on. All of them went to the backyard, because that was where the light seemed to be the brightest, and they saw a huge flying saucer. It pointed a bright light at their house, brighter than you could ever imagine! The UFO then turned the light off and disappeared.

None of them were able to tell how long the UFO was there, and they couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed. A few minutes went by and then their neighbors came to their house.

They were yelling that they had all seen the UFO too. They all had the same story that there was a flying saucer with a strong light that had pointed at each of their houses. Nobody knew why the UFO was there, or what it had wanted, but it was definitely an experience that none of them will ever forget.

Several years later, about 15 years ago, my grandparents were living together just the two of them, when another strange and inexplicable thing happened. According to my grandparents, it didn’t just happen once, it happened about 3-4 different times.

They didn’t have a car so they had to walk about 4 miles to get home. One night, they were walking home as usual when they saw a circle in the sky. They said that it started to change shapes, and lights of different colors began to illuminate their way home. My grandmother said that she was really scared, but she tried to keep walking like everything was normal. She told me that the experiences lasted about 2 minutes each time.

The UFO’s formed ring shapes and the lights were purple, red, yellow, blue, and green. They said the lights looked like they were in HD, and that the yellow looked more of a gold-like color.

They never knew why they were having the experiences, but my granny always says that even though she was scared of them, they always put on a beautiful performance for them!

“Chile is known to be a major hotspot for UFO sightings. This story is very interesting because the “flying saucer” pointed a light at each of the houses in the neighborhood before leaving. What could have been the meaning of that? Were they collecting information? Were they looking for something or someone? It doesn’t seem like the people/things controlling the UFO were trying to be too secretive that night that’s for sure, and by “showing themselves” to the couple a few times as they walked home.”
