A good friend of mine was raped by someone she met and liked alot...
She didn't understand why I tried so hard to stop her from leaving with the guy...
But, she did...
She didn't know how I knew that was going to happen...
I just met him that night for 30 minutes...
She understood a little after that...

Well done sweetie for bringing this to the readers attention. It is terrible that in today`s society that people treat others so terribly. Both men and women are victims of rape and the statistics are horrendous, but the good thing about those statistics is that they are a warning, an important one too! They make others aware of the situation and therefore you are able to protect yourself when you go out. This is a well thought out and well written piece that is very important to others because it will make them aware of this terrible crime, and maybe it will help to prevent something awful from happening to them in the future.
