If only...

" Her:

When i stared at his eyes, i could see the combination of all those beautiful and natural colors. I saw not only the galaxy but the entire universe in one stare. I couldn't even see my reflection although he was looking down at me. I suppose i didn't care to see imperfection through his crystal like eyes. His smile, could cure the most awful sicknesses. He could cheer anyone up with that smile. His perfectly alined teeth, he would show just enough of his gums to not have a gummy smile. His cheekbones would become more visible, his eyes would eye smile and gosh, i felt butterflies each time i knew i was the reason for that smile to be drawn onto that face.

If only he knew, he was the first thing on my mind in the morning, and my last thought at night. If only he could love someone like me. "If only..." the only words i could ever tell myself, lying to myself that one day he might be mine.

If only he were...

Him:

When i stared at her eyes, i could see her pupils widen, an endless black hole, emotionaless eyes, sadden ones i would say. They were dark brown, almost black. Her smile was something i rarely had the chance to see. Her real one that is. The one where her eyes would shrink, the one where her cheeks would become rosie red and the edges of her lips stretch up to her ears. She often showed a numb smile, one screaming for help while still being silent, although her lips never moved to say those exact word. I could tell that she was trying to say something similar to s.o.s. . When she would smile, knowing i made her smile, it wouldn't only bring my stomach to have this twisting sensation, but my heart would pound violently against my rib cage making my ribs ache. It was not the kind of pain that could be cured by going to a doctor, nor would i ever want it to be cured. It was the sort of pain when you would just know that you are truly in love with someone who probably doesn't even feel the same way towards you. If only she was mine.
