Motionless

she looked blankly at the ground rubbing her eyes which were now surrounded by her smudged tears.

She didn't speak for a few seconds and then it became a few minutes as she kept staring blankly at the ground.

While not saying anything she let herself fall backwards falling onto him as she moved onto her side not wanting to look up at him. She stayed mute, not moving, apart from her chest occasionally moving up and down as she breathed in and out.

She couldn't close her eyes, not until the blank,  blurry view became tiring. Her eyes slowly closed, she blinked trying to animated her eyelids as they failed to listen to her mind. Her eyes stayed closed.

She no longer moved, no longer make a sound. She simply laid on his lap.
