Impatient Inpatient

Hello, my name is Erin Schaeffer. I am currently inpatient at a psyche ward. Let me just say that I have the craziest story for you. Please just listen...
Day One-"Welcome To My Life."
As I slowly take a nibble at my pizza, I am bothered by my unruly parents. I couldn't stand them bringing me down all the time, so Iwalk into my room. With the lights turned off, I recognize a shadow in my corber. I immediately start freaking out and turn on the lights. Turns out it was just my mannequin. But, even with the lights on, it came closer. Suddenly, it was to my neck. I pushed it down and rushed to the bathroom, and locked the door. I hear someone yell at me, telling me to commit suicide and how. I pick up the razor and black out immediately.
Day Two-"Mi Vida Loca."
I'm not going to lie; waking up in a psyche ward beats anything else I've ever conquered. It's only been an hour shy and I'm already missing my family. Instead of going on with the program by going to groups, I lay on my bed and cry. I mean, what else can I do?
Day Three-"The Wonders Of Friendship."
Okay. I survived my first night of the never-ending nightmare. The good thing is I met a few friends. Presley; week 2, day 3, is my best friend in here. She's got a spark and I love it.
Aeisha; week 1, day 5, is pretty cool as well. Finally, Danielle; week 4, day 5, makes me laugh so hard that I draw tears. We pretty much formed a posse. You know, just the three of us. It's not too bad after all.
Dat Four-"Tech Support."
Waking up in a good mood, I get startled by my roommate, Jessica. She started to scream and yell. Then, she accused me of stealing her stuff...yeah, you can say my mood went from tolerated to pissed off.
All day long, I was in a bad mood. Luckily, I was calmed down by a person who worked there. I was finally able to get some sleep.
Day Five-"Thug Life."
So, we got a new patient this morning. He was easily recognized as a gangster. Me being me, I whisper to Presley, "Thug Life." You see, we caption every patient who comes in. I just had to label him that. You know how they say Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover? Well, it's true. I learned it the hard way. Right when I called him that, he gave me a look. Must've heard me. Well, he raced, faster than a horse, his way to me, got in my face and pushed me. He, then, gave me the finger. He was put in solitary confinement.
Day Six-"A Broken Hart."
Sitting in the day room, I noticed someone noticing me. I prance my way to him and introduce myself. "Hi, I'm Erin." He looks up, shakes my hand and said, "Hart. Elijah Hart." We both smiled, then enjoyed a bittersweet, awkward silence.
"Hey. After meds, meet me in the day room," said Hart. "Sure thing," I reply. Soon enough, "meds!" The staff yells. So, we take our nightly meds and go sit back down. He looks around for a clear coast and kisses my lips. I never felt so alive.
After morning came, I walked down the hall to see Hard. He told me that we couldn't see each other anymore because he was married. I slapped him and walked away.
Day Seven-"Lies And Lullabies."
After breakfast, I go to my room. Suddenly, Jessica (or Jeska, which everyone calls her) comes in and whispers, "come quick." So I follow her into the outskirts of the day room and beyond my surprise hear, "that Erin girl is crazy." "Oh I know. Why is she even here?" "Beats me. She thinks we're her friends." Guess who those girls were? My friends! I figured out the hard way to trust no one.
"Home Sweet Home"
So now you know my story. Crazy, Right? Well, let us hope that I never end up there again.
Home never felt so good.
