Insanity Play: A puppet for a puppeteer P2
"Nico? What's wrong with me?"
The tears came faster than I had ever felt before. I didn't want to cry and yet as the first tear fell down I looked up at Nico's face and I saw that I wasn't the only one who had tearing eyes.
"Lily, nothing's wrong with you."
I looked up to find his soulful eyes staring down at me.
"Nico, thank you."
As I stood up, my heart felt wrenched out of my body. I felt music flowing right through me and I wanted to cry but I couldn't and I didn't know why. I wanted to feel free. Free of the voices, the images that haunted me. "Untimely deaths are always the best." Nico said. I knew what he was implying to. "No, actually they don't." I say, a little more calmed now. "Oh yeah? Why not?" Nico says, happy I'm not going psycho. "Well, there would be so much you could do. And you never know what you might've missed out."
Nico decided to end it at that.
We walked and walked.
"Wait, where are we walking to?" I asked, suddenly aware and no longer lost in my thoughts.
"You'll see."
Please don't be a kidnapper, like I know you're my friend but please don't secretly be a kidnapper. I thought to myself.
The wind was silent as it blew gently, we walked towards trees that welcomed me like my familiar. The long waving ancient oak trees. The yellow daisies, like a pile on the ground. Cramped.
"I know this place." I say to myself.
"I know you know this place."
"I know this place." I repeat again.
"Yep, you said that."
I turn to Nico.
And slap him hard across the face so that there is a scar puckered above his eyebrows.
"Whot the Fu-"
"Nico."
"What?"
"It's the graveyard that my mother was buried in."

Part 3 coming soon!!! *when my brain stops dying*
P.S I was listening to: Can't catch me now, a song by Olivia Rodrigo- for the Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
It is now both my favourite and least favourite song, indescribable.
The Character(s): Lily *who is still (regretably) going psycho*, Nico *who is still completely not going psycho (for now)
