Jinn

Jinn

My dad, uncle, and one of my older brothers have had some paranormal experiences.
One time my dad was traveling by car from his city to another at night. The city he lived in is all mountains and clefts and it was apart from the city; the traveling roads were pretty deserted and very scary at night. Everyone in the city believed that a type of jinn lived in those mountains because it's perfect there for them to hide. Many people warned my dad not to travel at night, but he had important business to do in the other city so he insisted on going.

I forgot what it's called but basically the jinn there is a very pretty woman, but one of her legs is that of a donkey because she can't shift completely. I'm not sure if that means that her original appearance is that of a donkey or not. She only haunts males and turns them into donkey slaves for her. But light is her weakness.

My dad was driving and he suddenly heard something on the back of the car. When he stopped to see, he saw a donkey lady climbing on top of the car! He said he got back into the car and drove really fast with all lights on and then she disappeared.

I can't recall what happened to my uncle with this same type of jinn but I remember dad once told me. When he was very young, around 6-7 and my uncle was about 10 years old, they were having eggs at the roof of their house. Then suddenly they heard a voice talking very angrily that they were so rude not to share their eggs with him.

Then suddenly it possessed my uncle and was using him to speak. My dad freaked out and called my grandma, she is called a sheik (someone who has a vast knowledge of the Quran and Islam, similar to a pope) and got rid of the jinn. The jinn wasn't a bad one so my uncle was lucky about that.

And finally, my brother went on a road trip with his friends. On the way back they stopped at a station. My brother went to the bathroom and saw an elf looking guy that didn’t look human. His friend went for a smoke and was walking, when something tapped him on the back. As he turned around, he saw a female jinn like I was talking about earlier. At first he just saw a very beautiful face, and was confused as to why a woman would be there in such a remote area. But he then looked down and saw that one of her legs looked like that of a donkey's, so he realized immediately that it was a jinn and ran away. Both him and my brother were sick for a while after that.

Muslims use jinns (also known as genies) to explain many different kinds of paranormal phenomena. They are believed to only be seen by humans when they want to be seen, and they can either be good or bad, just like humans. They can change into different forms, including donkeys, cats, birds, snakes, and even humans! Some people think that magic is done by jinns. A human contacts a jinn somehow, and the jinn does what they want. Many people don’t fear jinns because they believe that saying some prayers from the Quran will help protect them from evil, no matter how powerful the jinn might be.

While doing some research about jinns to see if I could find any similar stories, I met a Muslim lady from Algeria, Africa who herself has had an experience with a jinn. Her story is below:

A couple years ago I was video chatting online with a friend of mine, and he suddenly started to talk with a women’s voice. His face then changed and he became a totally different person. His face changed into the women’s, and I knew that it wasn’t a prank. The women that possessed him hated me, and she told me to stay away from him because she had a crush on him, and he had a crush on me. He had told me about her before.

As she talked to me I was praying; not out loud so she didn’t hear me, but she told me to stop praying. She kept telling me to stop and started to threaten me, and then we stopped talking online.

The next day my friend told me that he didn’t know that it had happened, and he just thought that he had been sleeping the whole time!

Jinns are in the Islamic religion, but they can be experienced by anyone regardless of religion or location around the world. Besides hearing what the ladies in Yemen and Algeria told me, I also found a story about a “donkey lady” from Texas, United States. The donkey lady in Texas has allegedly frightened many people, by jumping on their vehicles and causing serious exterior damage. I don’t know if it could also be a jinn, but the stories and circumstances sound quite familiar!
