Joke of the day
Here is what I found today on Twitter, as shown in the image, that the so-called Google translation is really a joke.
- The Chinese name 蒙古 means Mongolia, but was translated as “self-monkey”. What?!
- The Chinese word 热爱 that means love was translated as “hot-hearted”. Well not too bad if you can guess something to do with a warm heart.
The other day, I typed in 卿卿我我, and the translator came up “qing qing I I”. Oh my world, which world is this?! The Chinese phrase is usually used to depict a couple showing their affection by touching or hugging, and so on.
From this, I’d like to say, today, some big tech, social media, and media are controlling our lives, and misinformation and misguidance are often generated by them. This is the danger. In essence, they cannot be trusted, as to them, only money talks. By Yiyan Han (c) 2020-12-04.
