Lady waiting.

The sun bares down
in her country town, the clouds roll by and by
There's something in the atmosphere, she looks up at the sky
days bring a lights repreave to the darkness
She has known, sitting on a deckchair in silence
All alone
The children are all tended too, school makes learning fun, yet she waits there patiently
For her returning girls
and son, What'sĀ a mother to do with days other than tending to theĀ house, she lost her love and separated
no longer has a spouse
The garden overgrowing
Makes wild the life inside
Butterflies and bees
The beauty they provide
She sits in silence just listening, every bird she hears their song
The children shall be returning home soon, she knows
It won't be long.
