Mystery Girl Of Bluffview Park
This picture was taken around 2002 inside of the abandoned Bluffview Park School in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
I went there with my brother and some of his friends from high school. It was one of the pictures that they had taken with an old digital camera. Bluffview Park School has been abandoned since the early 1980's. People sometimes snuck in there and broke things. We went in their many times to look around.
Around 2002 we went in there and took some pictures. My brother's friend took the pictures and uploaded them onto a computer at my house. It was then that we saw the ghosts of a girl and we were very surprised. We didn't notice her presence while we were inside of the building!
A few years after the picture was taken, some people went to the school and tried to burn it down, but it's still there now.
I've never heard of anyone dying around there, but across the forest there is an old farm and a cemetery with the graves of the farmers that lived there before. If there are such things as ghosts, who knows where they go? Maybe they are like people when they are alive and can travel to different places?
I contacted the local historical society in the area, told them about this story, and asked them if they knew if a girl had died in or around the school in the past. They told me that the school was built in 1929 and that it was open at least until the 1960's. However, they didn't know at that time if anyone had ever died in or around the school.

The name of the school is Bluff View. It is in Fairview Heights, Il .
There is a Bluff View Park School in East St Louis , Illinois , which was located below the bluff area , on Bunkum Road, East St Louis, Illinois. Still in use.
Bluff View School is located at the top of the Bluffs . The structure , is still there , however damaged . It closed in the late 80’s.
Both school locations are the property of School District 189, East St Louis , Illinois as The Fairview location was an unincorporated city at the time of the School .
No one died in the school . I do know of one little girl who attended that school and she died of a brain tumor around 1960, at her home, which was a few houses down from the school .
there is no farmland or cemetery in the neighborhood.. However there is a cemetery on Holy Cross Road , Fairview Heights, it is below the neighborhood to the East. It can be accessed by walking past farm and into woods off Richfield Road , which is in the back end of the neighborhood . But few know that . It is actually accessed right off HWY 50 ( AKA Lincoln Trail )at Holy Cross Road .
