nurse's

As the solider awoke and looked into smiling face of nurse in green scrubs, how are you private she asked. This was just another one of thirty or forty she seen in the last few
days. But still she had a smile for everyone of them, giving them words of encouragement, even thought she knew they wouldn't make it back home. Such is the life a nurse in the foreign land called Afghanistan, and Iraq for they give their heart and soul to the men and women that come in from firefights. Yes I salute these dedicated
women and men that have seen the ugliest part of war, and still have the time to write a letter back home for a soldier who hands are to burnt to write, or has lost and arm to a
roadside bomb, these women and men, give of them self’s more than any other part of the military and have more bravery than any solider in combat..
This is a part for the war you don't hear about that much. It is the one that needs to be told and these brave nurses need to be recognized for their compassion and dedcation
and bravery they give of them self’s with nary a thought of them selves. I remember years ago when I was young a song that was song about the nurses of Vietnam I think that song still fits today every solider in combat I know say a prayer that he will never need one of the nurse's. so a prayer is said for each one of them so again I am dedcatinfg this short little story or rant to all the brave women and men that tend the wounds of our soldiers THANK-YOU FOR ALL THATYOU DO AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE.
