Once A Soldier, Always A Soldier

In 2013 I visited a friend of mine; she showed me a photo and told me to look at it closely. At first I couldn’t see what was in the photo, all I could see was the palm tree that’s in her yard. She told me to look at the palm tree closely and to tell her what I seen.It wasn’t until I looked closer, that I seen an image of an Australian soldier. He was standing near the palm tree looking straight at the camera. He was dressed in the uniform from around the time of WWII. She said that it was a peaceful presence, and that for some reason he kept watch on the house for her.

At my friend’s house one night earlier in 2013 I had gotten into my car, started it, and looked in the mirror and noticed that I couldn’t see out the back window of my car. It was the soldier; he was sitting in the back seat! He stayed in there with me until I got halfway into town from my friend’s house. I told her about it, and she thinks that he stayed with me to make sure that I was safe going back into town. This happened after floods had ruined much of the area.

There are lots of stories about the ghosts of soldiers, especially if the soldier died in war, and their life was cut short. A lot of ghosts are of people that have died an untimely or violent death. The soldier may have a connection to the house or land where the ladies friend lives.
