Philosophers Dream

I had a dream that I went to the future. 

And I wandered and found a man, and I asked the man if he had ever heard of a specific name.

And I gave him my name.

The man said, " Oh yeah, the famous philosopher. Yes I know that name."

And I said to the man  "famous philosopher?"

And the man said,"yes, well, famous philosopher only after he had passed away."

I asked the man, "Well, what do you mean?"

The man said, "Well after a long time, the philosopher had passed away - and they found his writings, and it was seen as profound, and a lot of people really appreciated it."

I said, "Well how come it was only after he had passed away that people found his work to be profound, and appreciate it?"

The man said; " Well we can only assume that he spoke with dis-honest people through out his life. "

I said to the man, "what do you mean?"

He says "To become a philosopher in this age, there is a pre-requisite, something every philosopher needs to have in order to be successful while they are alive. 
And that is having honest friends around you. Having honest people around you."

I say to the man, "What does this have to do with it?" 

The man says, "Honest people will tell your words to others as your words, and dishonest people will only tell your words as theirs. If there are no honest people in the world, one honest man will turn the world into philosophers.
If there are honest people around you, you will get your roses while you're here."

I said, "Wow that's an incredible message sir."

The man said "It's a quote from you , Sir. 
In a writing you Titled: "Philosophers Dream"

It was a nice try, but your nose gives you away." 

And then, I woke up.
