surfing

I'm tring to learn how to surf. I started last summer with taking a back pack full of things on my surf board from the shoar, to the deck.
it was pretty hard, for me any way. I don't know where it came from.
the worse that could of happened was my pack with my music falling in the water. don't worry, it didn't happen.
I wouldn't recomend it to any one without balance, because you could more then likely lose your stuff.
heck, even for those who have balance I wouldn't recomend it to.
you have to really want to surf if you consider it. and you need some help from people who are willing.
I'm still what you would call a wanabe, because I really havn't gotten any waves yet.
later that summer I decided to jump off the pear, I saw some people doing this one time and remembered a medifore about jumping off a pear.
the medifore is, jumping off of pear pressure, I wanted to give it a try... or chickened out at first then I did it.
it took me awhile to get used to it. and when I finnally did, I had the time of my life.
although, the people staring at me didn't help that much.
later I decided to try climbing down the post to get to the rocks. (something I wouldn't recomend also.)
it took me allot of practice and I really got soar the next day. (like I said, I wouldn't recomend it)
It really helps build muscle, espesailly if you carry a little waight on your back. (again, something I wouldn't recomend)
later that summer summer, I was really liking it so I decided I wanted to jump off the big tower next to the rocks.
If you live in white rock, you would know what I mean.
it's the highest point for jumpers, if your a cliff jumper, and you think. "pfft, what a nube."
I don't blame you. cliff jumping is way more difficult then jumping off the pear whitch is only ten feet compared to 50 feet off the water.
but hey, I'm still learning, gibe me a brake. maybe one day I will do it, heck, now that I'm a little braver, and a better swimmer.
I have the confidence to do so. (cliff jumping any ways)
for the people that are afraid of jumping off of high points, considering its easier to jump off of jumping baords.
I also don't blame you. heck, if anything, trying new things is harder then it looks.
this has been my story on trying new things. hope you enjoyed.
Russ.

the real first time it tried surfing was when I first go my long board. tottally failed there.
now that I have good balance, I can't seem to get to white rock when the wind is high on time.
thats how I failed miserably. wish I could actually feel what its like to experiance surfing for real.
coodo's to you dale, you must be an awsome surfer.
singed Russ.
sorry, I didn't mean to say it, I meant to say the real first time I tried it.

Hey James,Â
You probably would love the waters of California...You've got more heart than I and sounds like you love to test the adrenaline flow, and without any fear. Have you ever tried sky diving?? This is an example of what sets you in a class of your own, you have no sense of fear to try anything and the humor you place in all you do and say and then bammmmm, you throw some serious James Mackie in the game...... "One of your lines" (The metaphor is, jumping off of pear pressure, I wanted to give it a try... or chickened out at first then I did it.) Only you can make a person feel comfortable to the fact to know that, somewhere in your upcoming next lines, will there be something thrown at us, daring and funny. You have the ability or shall I say, the gift of laughter, for all that needs it on your résumé. Stay you partner, it works and a lot of times, when humor is what is needed to heal the soul...I turn to the page of Mr. J.Mackie and one of your humorous poems and receive my dosage of good humor for the day....
