" Didn't really want to go out to night," I said into the phone to Echo, "please!, come on Patch, you haven't been out in a long time, Jade will be there as well, we all can have a few drinks listen to some good music, dance, let your hair down, it will do you a world of good and you never know, you mite get lucky" laughing,Patch are you still their, "sorry" Echo, I was thinking, ok “yes!,".. "really,! you come" "yes,ok, yes" , I said," pulling the phone from my ear,Echo scream out", yes, she, coming" "who with you, Echo!, who with you there,,"sorry,Patch, Jade here,".. "ok ,when is this going to happen"... “tonight, we meet you at the Pond, say 7”,... "THE POND!are you nuts, there been a lot of things going on at that place," “it”s be ok!, Patch, Jade got some tickets from, Logan" "who Logan!," "he's a friend of a friend, of a friend,and he's the bouncer on the door as well” but it's the tickets, patch, you know how hard t is to get tickets, let along, trying to even get into the place" not really sure if I wanted to go now,“ ok “see you all to night.”hanging up the phone, (what have I got myself into, sitting down, my mind went back 6 months when Jake and I were ..together , has it been that long, "wow" why did he do it, why, why, tears welded up in me, why did he put up photos of me on the net, "EX REVENGE,. those photos,were just for us, personal photos, I didn't even know, till Echo showed me, the fucker sent them to her, he know, she will show them to me, now all the world seen them and know who I am,it was his way of getting revenge, if only I know why, coming back out of my worse nightmare , I pick up my phone, and going through all the photos, how many times have I done this,deleting all ,making sure I didn't miss any,....making sure, I did delete all of them,. anybody can get to your phone now... I lost count, no more photos of me in the nude or in any sexual position.... that man nearly ruined me physically and mentally.)

Putting the phone down, trying to get the horror out of my mine... going in for a shower, back in the bedroom ,going through my clothes, deciding on jeans, long sleeve top and jacket, looking in the bottom of the wardrobe for my booths and bag, putting on a little make up,, running my fingers through my hair, little perfume, there I'm done, back out in the lounge room, I pick up my phone, purse, keys, looking at the small touch that I keep on the counter in case of blackouts ,I put that in the purse as well, looking around making sure everything is fine,.)

Going outside and locking the door behind me,.

"Where are you going" I tense, slowly turning around and their, stood Jake "what the fuck do you want Jake!"... standing there,looking at me"you" he said "fuck off" I said "there's a restraining order out on you,.. your not allowed to come near me with in a 50 meters or I call the cops," ... "come on baby,"... taking out my phone,"are you going “I said showing him the phone with the police number, "OK"! backing up, as he raised his hands up, pointing his finger at me," this is not over, Patch ,we need to talk, and talk we will, turning around and walking off, letting out a very big breath, my hand is trembling.

looking around, making sure he's gone,clutching the phone to my chest, 3 doors down, Joe came out closing up and walking up to me, "are you ok patch, Jake was just here, can you order a taxi and wait and walk me down,".. "sure I can can do that for you,"... "thanks"..."what he dong here, you still got that restraining order out on him,I surprise he didn't get arrested, for what he did ...their was no poof Joe that he did it,because they were on my phone and he used my phone,”..." and yes! cause I have, he said he wants to talk, I don't trust him, Joe".. "come on,. I walk you down, were are you going," I'm meeting up with Echo and Jade at the Pond"... "The Pond! please patch don't let anyone buy you a drink and don't leave your drinks alone!,... that place has got a bad reputation lately someone is spiking drinks there"... "yes I know".. "Echo got some tickets from Logan".. "who is Logan,".. "I got no idea, as far as I know he's a friend of a friend and he's the door bouncer"... the taxi beep "come on, I walk you down".. "thank you, so much Joe," open the door of the taxi, "have a good night, patch, you deserve it". on the way I called Echo, I be out the front in 10 minutes, please come out as I am very nervous, laughing ok patch, the taxi pulled up out the front, were there are Lines x2 right around the corner, I saw Echo,Jade with a tall dark hair muscle man standing next to her, I assumed this was Logan ,Echo and Jade both grab me , huge me so tightly, "Patch it's so good, you come ,this is Logan, he is going to look after us tonight, looking up gave him a smile, thank you Logan, I'm patch, looking down it's my pleasure Patch, come on let's all go inside and grab a seat, we got a live band playing tonight Echo and Jade both took my arms and led me inside, I was so nervous and shaking, once I get a drink I should be right, we had a really good seat up on the balcony looking down onto the dance floor and the band, sitting down, Echo got me a beer, she knows I don't drink anything else, “you ok” she said, “yes sort of,... Jake turn up just before I come here”, looking surprised “no!” she said, “what did he want?”... “to talk”,... “does he know, that you have put out a order,”.. “even if he did or didn't get the papers ,yes he does now.”.

I'm still scared,”... “when he left I saw Joe, he walked me down and put me in the taxi.” I think Jake was watching me getting into the taxi and I think he mite turn up here”.... “patch you must report this to the police, let them know that he has been around to your place”,... they won't believe me, Echo, I got no proof, no one saw him talking to me,” letting out of breath and taking a drink of my beer. Moss stood up and asked Echo for a dance we all were in a group Jerry who is Jake work mate i'm surprise he here ,with us,then their Moss,and Kyle,.

Looking around and just taking in the Scene, trying to relax, watching a couple dancing, not bad, Logan, sitting down next to me, "how you doing ”looking at him, short hair, dark complexion a moustache/beard, muscle body underneath the t-shirt, looks like he does weights," sorry !what did you say"looking at me smiling, “I asked how you doing,” smiling back,” I'm doing ok”,.
pointing to my beer, “do you want another,” looking at my beer, looking back up shaken my head, "no!,thanks,... maybe later" “ok,” looking down at the dance floor, Echo and Jade, Logan, pointed, said “they are having,fun” turning my head to look and saw Joe, he was looking at me funny,but also looking at Jerry as well.

Given him a wave, Logan eyes followed who I was waving to, said "who that"... "my neighbour," Joe" 3 Doors Down,.Joe making his way up, grabbing a beer on the way, sitting down on the other side, "so, what brings you here"... "no one, just checking the place out,"... "Joe this is Logan,... Logan is the bouncer and my bodyguard for tonight, laughing" Joe reaching over to take Logan hand, getting up," I see you later patch," if you go! ", let me know, ok"....

”will do,and Logan,thanks...”bodyguard hay,”...”yep the girls prayed him to watch me,just making sure i'm ok,”.....'good friends you got their,Patch' “yes” I know Echo knows what I went through and how it affect me, not just physically but mentally too”...,picking up my beer shaking a little,”you ok”yes i'm fine,it just been a very long time since I been out,it's a bit overwhelming,”...would you like me to take you home,I don't really know Joe,I only seen him a couple of time,but then again I have been in hiding,”maybe later,if you got no were else to go,i'm going to grab another beer,can I get you one”...standing up,hay let me,”no!”sorry no, it's ok, I get them,.walking up to the bar,saw Logan,”hay you getting the drinks,yep Joe did offer,

“but I said I would,good!” said Logan,”keeping getting your own Patch,”..”will do”sitting back down,giving Joe his,sorry Joe,only Logan or myself can get my drinks,”why”because I don't want my drinks to be spice,Joe was a bit put out,touching his hand,”please don't take it the wrong way Joe, what happen to me,i'm just more aware ok”smiling at him”ok”smiling back.

Going to the toilet had to wait a little while,coming back Joe,sitting down,...he had one of the barmaid sitting next to him,giving me back my drink,smiling “I catch you later,Patch if you want a ride home”no!” that's ok”... looking from Joe to the girl,”I take a taxi home I see you sometime tomorrow smiling,have fun” smiling back I intend too,walking off,.

Logan came sitting down with a tired moan,”long night” I said...”yep I been here since 5 this morning,if I didn't have to babysit,I be home in bed fast asleep”,looking at him,”well in that case Logan, I so sorry that you are missing out on your beauty sleep” drinking the rest of my beer in one gulp,standing up,”tell Echo and Jade thanks for a good night,”...standing up,Logan grab my arm,”were do you think your going”..”home!”

"ok" "you stay here" getting up, Logan went off to fine Echo, no sooner was he out of sight, picking up my bag and walking out the fount,, hauling a taxi getting in.... somebody else got in on the other side, Logan came running out saw me in the taxi, saw the other person getting in, saw Joe with the barmaid, hay Joe did you see who got into the taxi with Patch, Joe turn around looking at Logan, no man , sorry,.... “fuck”,.
I turn around looking at Jerry, Jake best mate looking down at his hand, he had a syringe right next to my arm. looking up to the taxi man, "don't look at him, he's not going to help, with the mount of money I gave him, Jerry turn his eyes to him" , keep your fucking eyes on the fucking road", looking back at me,Jerry told me what Jake did and why, “I had tears, now"why, why did he do it"I said... “O, Patch don't you know, he loves you,he wants you all to himself but he gets a bit carry away with his jealousy and possession and I told him a little while lie,laughing, I told him I saw you with another man and you know, he believe me he got so wild with his temper he hit the wall ”... “he kept on bragging about you, how beautiful you are ,the more Jake talk about you ,the more I wanted you for myself ”....”so I had to get rid of Jake”... “now my beautiful beautiful girl, you are all mine”, he push the syringe into my arm, I woke up in a cage, like a prison cell, a toilet in the far corner, a small sink,cot were I am lying down ,only one small window to let the light in, I hears voices and key, the door at the end open and Jerry came in with a tray of food, “morning my beautiful girl, did you sleep well”, "what do you want,Jerry,” sliding the tray under the door, “eat my lovely wife soon to be”,... “soon we will talk”, he turned around and went back out, “Jerry!”...”Jerry”... “please!,” I called after him, sitting back down on the floor I brought my hands to my face and cried.

Wiping tears and my nose on my top, looking around for my bag found it on the bottom of the cot, going through it to fine a tissue, my phone was gone but the torch was still there,press the button making sure it still worked, "yes" grab the tissue making out that all I wanted, slowly looking around making sure no camera were in the walls, roof, good nothing.... at least I had a light looking at the bars for me too try and squeeze through “I have got to be kidding” all I can do is wait.
looking at the food, yes I was hungry taking a chance it was not drug eating like it my last....laying back down and slowly drifted off to sleep. I woke up with a sudden jerk,Jerry was sitting on the cot, just starring at me, I quickly move up to the end of the cot"what the fuck"smiling at me, "come sweet pea, would you like to clean up, shower perhaps" reaching out and touch my face,knocking his hand away,you been crying "why!? Don't you know ,I love you", come on standing up and his hand reach out for me I hesitated ,then taking his hand, he pulled me up and into his arms, now that's not too bad was it, looking into his eyes saw something and it terrified me.

He lead me out through the door into the kitchen and down the a dark corridor cobwebs along the walls pulling me by the arm, into a beautiful bedroom, chandelier hanging from the ceiling lighting the walls,a old fashion bed with drape hanging down around it ,a door leading into a big bathroom looking at the shower, help yourself, or would you like me to give you a hand laughing... glaring at him"were am I" ... "we work together what did Jake really do? come to think about it, I didn't really know " taken all of this in, I nearly lost sight of what I was doing,, I walk over turning the shower on, and Turning around to look at Jerry, "any clean clothes , maybe a pair of jeans and a top".. smiling “ they will be on the bed when you get out”turn around and walking out, I followed ,closing the door behind him .I put my ear to the door listening making sure he was gone,I strip off and getting into the shower,I heard Jerry come in and just standing their looking at me,I had my back to him,turn around he said”no”Patch if you don't,I”m going to get in,I slowly turn round,Jerry only had a towel on,coming towards me dropping his towel and getting in,”fuck your beautiful” his hand grip my jaw,and tilting my head up, in his other hand he had a little white pill”,open wide”he said.

Looking around to see were I could hide, saw the fire poker picking it up and hiding behind the door,when he came in ,I hit him in the back of the neck blood pouring out of a deep wound as he drop the tray and falling to the ground.

Finding my small bag making sure I still have my touch, going to the window looking down ,too far, I could see no ledge going back to the main door, trying to be so quiet open slowly and closing, good no lights on ….couching down and staying close to the wall, no voices that I could hear, then I heard a door open and shut footsteps I made a quick line to the door at the end of the corridor praying its not locked,quickly open going in hoping no one is in the room I didn't want to get caught and go back into the cage, the room was semi dark looks like it never been lived in for a long time the light from the outside street lamp casting little light into into the room given it a eerie feeling, cobwebs hanging from the bedpost and around the big mirror, dust everywhere, I put my hands over my mouth and nose I could smell sour pungent odour.

I didn't want to sneeze, I didn't want him to find me, walking over to the window looking to see if I could open it running my fingers around the frame, finding the latch trying to pull it back, won't budge my eyes spotted a fire poker that I drop the same time I heard the knob on the door turning as quickly as I could I walk over and picking the poker up, standing behind the door... the door open as he walked in I hit him in the side of the head again he went down blood gushing from the deep gash across his face , not even checking on him I move out closing the door behind me, fuck no lock, moving quickly down the steps stopping on the last one, crouching down ….the bile in my belly starting to rise ,no lights are on, trying to get my bearings looking from right to left reside to go left that were I think jerry can from and a dim light shining under the door ,hoping its the office not the kitchen or were their mite be a phone, opening the door, I peak in, no one, good a small desk lamp was on, moving looking around, their, on the seat is my phone, he was going through it,the fucker, quickly picking it up and turning it on ,good had some charge in it the first person that popped up was Logan type out a quick message "patch jerry has me fine Jake he knows were, I don't ...turning it off to save the battery, I heard a terrifying scream “you fucking bitch, Patch I'm going to kill you, if I can't have you, no one well .at lease he didn't call me sweet pea.

I shivered,and not from the cold neither it was from that terrifying scream.

I know he's going to come in here, I got to hide, just for a little while looking were, saw a door in the corner, known my luck its a cupboard their was no were else to hide, heard another eerie scream chills ran down my spine, opening the door, yep a cupboard looking up to see if I could hide up their, saw a man hole, I hope I don't fall ,claiming up slowly putting one foot on the first shelf hope it will whole my weight, then on the next one, pushing up to the next shelf lifting the cover to the manhole up and of of way, pulling myself up and into the roof quickly putting the cover back in place, pulling my top over my face trying not to cough taking in a breath slowly letting it out, resting for a bit, taking out the touch, shining it around over the cross beams to the very far wall a sun light window great taking my time, I didn't want to slip staying to the far wall making my way reaching the window, yes its big enough for me to craw through on to the roof,trying to undo the latch my fingers are starting to bleed with all my strength I finally push the latch back and pushing the window out lifting myself up climbing head first out and laying on the ledge looking down wow its a long way down, resting, I took my phone out calling Logan, “patch were are you”.. “I don't know, some sort of country house I'm on the roof I hit jerry with a fire stoker and he's pissed off got a nice gash in the back of his head Logan, if he catcher me I'm dead ,fine Jake he should know were I'm am as he is mates with jerry, please hurry”... “ok patch”...”and Logan, I got the GPS on ok,”... “just hang on the police have been notify,”... “shit!, I think he coming up here ,got to go,”... “patch”... closing up the phone ,but put it on silent, “so this is were you are my sweet pea” I slowly turn around and looking at the gun jerry had in his hand, he was about 8feet above me “come on up here waving the gun at me”.. “no! I'm not coming anywhere near you jerry,”... he fired at me hitting me in the arm I scream out in pain, gripping my arm, “now! come up here” just about to make a move when I heard sirens and saw lights in the distance “too late jerry they are coming for you,” watching him looking in the distance then back at me he raise the gun at me and shot I saw the chopper ,jerry falling over the rail and onto the grown below I just sat there still holding my arm.

I don't know how long ,shivering, lost tract of time I vaguely remember someone calling my name, arms around me, come on someone said lifting me up someone else pulled me up then I collapsed I woke up in hospital my arm bandage and in a sling, Echo, Jade, Logan and Jake were their, groggy looking at all of them and focussed on Jake, “what are you doing here” I said my words slurring, “can we talk in private just for a little while, please patch”, “no!, what you got to say you can say in fount of my friends, but before you do I have something to say first”,... nodding his head trying to sit up, Logan came up and help me smiling at him thank “are you still on the clock”, smiling back “yes until I get to take you home ,right”... Echo, Jade “yep” they said at the same time, Logan said “I just be out side”, Echo said “we going for coffer I bring one back for you”.. “thank” I said as Logan got up gave Jake the look don't do anything stupid,
“Patch ,I'm sorry for what jerry done to you even know we were mates but only work mates I had no idea he feels the way he did towards you”.
“Jake !,why did you tell him about us, why did you get so jealous when you know I would never go behind your back”,... “patch please!, can we start over, I won't get jealous, or controlling,any more I promised,” taking my hand, slowly shaking my head “no! Jake, you are like jerry,”.. “don't say that patch I'm no were near like jerry,” ...”yes you are ,the only difference is Jake ,Jerry took it too far, and you are becoming like him, you need help Jake and I can't help you not physically and mentally you nearly destroyed me The Last Time,Jake, not ever again, so please stop, just go get help and just maybe you fine the right girl,” letting my hand go slowly getting up, “so this is goodbye then what about being friends”, “maybe later ...but not now, Jake “.

ok turning around and walking out I just lay their, tears weld up in in my eyes a knock on the door, come in a middle aged man in a suit said Patch Henning yes I'm Bark Croft so sorry to hear about your abuse but need to asked you some questions, ok I said, after I answered all his questions, thanks he said, you know  this Jerry, he the one who been drugging all the woman, we.... what I said it just you are so lucky to be a live, we think their mite be 5 other woman we think this Jerry mite have I'm an experiment on them first before he did anything to you we think you were the main target. have you found any of the other woman, no not yet we are still going through  his house, ok when you are we'll enough can you come down to the station and full full out the forms for the official statement this is my card call me first. ok I said he got up and left, the girls came back in  gave me my coffee I said I call when I'm discharge not sure if it's going to be today or tomorrow ok they said and left Logan came back in sat down, didn't say a word for a while, so what happened with Jake, not much I told him he needs help, said he would he wanted us to get 
back together I said no but later maybe friends only if he gets help, the doctor  came patch, looking at Logan, then back at me, I think you can go home only if you rest up have you got anyone to take care of you before I could answer, yes Logan said looking at me, I will, good ok then I get the paper work done come up to the office and sign before you leave, thank doctor, looking at Logan, you don't have to do this I said, yes I do, you are still in my care, smiling, smiling back slowly getting up, Logan getting up to help me, I just wait outside, you going be ok, Yep, ok you call me if you not, I mean it patch, he went out, I just sat their then getting up, grabbing my clothes a smile on my face just maybe something good mite turn of all of this
