Why Science Why?

He asked me question that day - "What is there in history brother? I find science is more interesting." Not only he but also another one remarked - "why the hell arts exist? why do they waste their time drawing absurd things. They should do BBA or BCA or if arts then psychology that's it." 

I know I started the conversation with a typical note, because I thought I should ask you. Do you know why do we do this and that? I tried hard and now I have this small abstract for all this.

WHY SCIENCE WHY?

I am a science student, not the core one but the applied one, engineering. What engineers do? They make a people lazy that's it. And since we love laziness so we respect engineers. So making any kind of remark on other streams will be a sin, but why in this country we outcast everything? And we love this habit so much that we outcast people who belong to streams which are so called lacks the basic requirement of a degree i.e. job. And so I want to ask science- Why you did this to others? You were supposed to make things easy and swift whereas you started dividing people. Because of you people comment like that, why science? I am with you for last 21 years but mark my words, I am no more different from all those but yes I know where I made the difference. I succeeded to crack some exams with some formulas which I don't understand completely, but just to pass I did it. So I am asking you science, have you done the correct thing? I mean you were the brain child of philosophers, stepson of art and beloved of business. Everytime you do some thing, the business group gets excited and then starts luring people sometime for such things which can kill people like the pesticides, DDT etc. 

You cannot survive without history because history behold those keys which constructed your today. So importance should be given to them? Isn't it? Science you will die if art will not be with you, because you develop yourself to bring arts to people. Why science why? then why you failed in my country?

Don't you love India? Why you created this caste system here? If we can't imagine how can we create? If we only think about the physical aspects then how can we develop? Science we lack you, you have never loved us. You treated the foreigners like your own son but then when it was about India, you became the member of khaap panchayat. We need discoveries, inventions, new ideas, not just to make new things but to make the old things correct. We need your help for our business, and we need the philosophies, the vision. 

Please science don't divide us. I request you please unite us, we need the arts and history to create the better world and a prosperous India. Please give this vision to our friends, that not just reading these books and knowing five hundred formulas is enough. We can be the best workers but yet we need the visionaries who can make us work. Trade should not be the only business (real estate please don't be disheartened) but we need these engineers to understand the pains of India, the real India, and to develop according to that. So science don't disappoint me boss.

I don't want my son to ask the same question after a decade - WHY SCIENCE WHY?
