A bunch more time has passed

Will the coming year be any...

From the time they were small and they would fall.

Jumping up to catch them was a parents call....

Let me soak in the lilac colored water and taste the salt on my lips...

I had a dream the other night

Dreamt of flying, what a sight

Soared above our big blue...

Wanted something awesome and new

Starting out of nowhere like morning dew

Slow soft...

My walking stick takes me

Shots burst in short spells...

It's day one of the rest of our lives

Beginning as it usually does

Love cleanses the mind

But hate and revenge taste so divine

While patience dwindles away...
