Watching the news every day

You'd think man couldn't live a better way

Prejudice, violence and hate all the time

For the love of God, give me a sign

There is going to be love and reconciliation

Spreading from street to street in every nation

I wish everyone would begin to understand

What could be achieved in every land

But so much potential is going to waste

Let's stop fighting to enjoy the welcome taste

Of freedom, hope and peace across the globe

After all that has gone before it is what is owed !

Some say our species couldn't live a better way

How do you know until we all believe and pray ?

For that what unites, not divides us, to hold sway

As one,foundations for a new world, we would lay.
