Why do we see so much bloodshed ?

Why do we see so many dead ?

We see about us the horror of war

There is so much in the news to deplore.

Isn't it time to end fighting caused by hate ?

Those promoting prejudice we should berate

For kindness, respect and love is the key

To forge a better world with greater prosperity !

Some ridicule the idea that people can get along

But they are outnumbered by a growing throng,

Those who say there has been enough killing

Those fed up with continuous blood letting !

Let us find the way to a better existence !

Let us show our strength and resistance

To all those who say unity is an impossibility,

We will foster cooperation, peace and harmony !
