devout

Devout was a word he used.
A follower of the word of god.
And the word of god was
the holy Bible
which contained the words
"Remember the sabbath
and keep it holy"
Part of a special set
of spiritual laws
that the LORD Himself
wrote on two stone tablets
that Moses brought
down from Mount Sinai.
"Why then" I asked
"do you celebrate the sabbath
on the wrong day of the week?"
.
.
(Sabbath is a Saturday. Sunday was a day of rest predating christianity in the Mithraism faith and adapted for convenience by the christian church and overlooking the word of the lord's 4th commandment. So much for devoutly following the word eh?)

Being Me

You are totally right! It's a case of what suits I guess. Even words of scripture can be twisted 😉 x
