SHATTERED PORTRAIT
Williamsji Maveli Writes.....

SHATTERED PORTRAIT
Rain chills him, a portrait of woe,
Lost in her absence, a silent flow
Of pain, Past scenes rip him apart,
Rage from her lips tears her heart.
A stranger now, her face contorted,
The love he craved, forever aborted.
Ignoring the warnings, love's blind embrace,
A single blow, a heart out of place.
Deception's mask, a charming facade,
Lured him deeper, control she craved.
Fleeing the rain, a life left behind,
Her self-made ruin tore at his mind.
No solace tomorrow, a call for home,
To breathe, to heal, never to be alone.
Shattered love, a life to rebuild,
From the wreckage, a stronger will.

The words flow together in a darkly kind of flow. Imagery is very good and
the poem holds my attention... I enjoyed reading it and it was extremely
well crafted poem.
