The Sea And The Storm

I am a ghost in a dark room
Leave out the light
Unless you've come to save me
Deliver me from doubt
I'll wait here
ββββββWhere the dead ends meet
With no one else in sight
Realigning stars as they disappear
Behind clouds of converging skies
From an iron trimmed glass aperture
I stare into the susurrating trees
On the border of a land submerging
With the vision of the sea
As the billow rolls and fluctuates
To a fluttering frequency
Lost in the storm, forewarning
A sodden twain fatality
Like a lighthouse
I am rigid and hollow within
At bay with solitude
And patience; my fallacious virtue
It keeps the lamp just lit
With a glimmer, you're still afloat
And will shimmer through
The glow, the eye emits
Overlooking the loss of time
From the edge of unfathomed quest
And along the shoal
Your trace erodes
As if your ghost had found
AnotherΒ place to rest
Still I would let the light go out
If only your vessel could collide
Into your lone, sole keeper
Thereupon to sail the stellar sky
