LOVE SUICIDE

LOVE SUICIDE

Sitting here staring at these four grey walls
Nothing else to live for no one to call
No one cares about me, and all my hope is gone

How did I end up in this desolate place
These thoughts keep recurring as tears roll down my face
I've come to the end of a life that never should have been

The light has departed, and total darkness prevails
My mind’s set on dying, and today is the day
The dagger begs for my blood, and my hands will guide the way

I held it as my savior, my deliverer, and my friend
Just one more breath in this life before I kiss the end
Very soon, I shall see the face of death who never pretends

So, farewell to life's bondage, good riddance to a beating heart
No longer will I be deceived by the promises of love

Let me lay where I fall like an uprooted tree cast to the ground
And do not mention my name in the same sentence with love.

Wilford Barker.

Dear Will, this is too sad for me. Way too sad. But it's so well crafted,
and written with such fervour, that I cannot help but admire this write.
I do hope that the Poet's heart will find the light of love, whatever it may be.

Hello B.
I was trying to capture the state of mind of someone’s reason and final thoughts before commenting this act.
I do hope it never happens and help is sought before this final act.
Don't know why I went this way, but maybe it was just some dark thoughts caged up inside the poet’s mind.
As always.. Your comments matters my friend.
Thank you very much for showing up on time.

''Things do not move me as before
I now live my life like an open-door
Whatever comes my way
was supposed to be,
Optimism has made me
stress-free.''
