Breakfast in Krakow
100% true .. the morning after the morning of my recent op ..
For a moment or two,
I watched her
from across the table
opposite me
and there leaning over
her shoulder,
I saw a vision of some
young woman
whom I used to know
so very well ..
Indeed on that singular
occasion she
was smiley and golden
which clearly
reflected, in the deep
yellow yolk of
my breakfast eggs benedict ..
