EASTER EGGS HUNT

Well it's not in the garden by the tall oak tree
I've looked in the lounge under the settee
Still the same answer so into the kitchen I go
How I wish these Easter eggs would show

Nothing in the fridge or inside the freezer too
Come on Daddy give me some kind of clue
I draw a blank in my bedroom just by the bed
"Do you give up sweet child ?" is what Daddy said

Then a thought occurred came suddenly to me
I politely asked my Daddy for the garage key
On the car bonnet something caught my eye
A funny shape object did I happen to spy

The Easter eggs had been found rushed to my pa
He kissed my forehead and let out a big hurrah
He told me well done and to enjoy the surprise
Something to remember when we're older guys
