Sand Castle

Boating Emotions

I’ve never seen you
Lose your core
Strong enough
To reach the shore
Ride the waves
Your emotions pour

Flow back and splash
Drowning within
A helpless past
I am in

Though these ropes
Tie down insecurities
Anchor great pain

Harbour feelings
Talk
And dock

Hold the sand
Let it fall
Then build a castle

Knowing it will fall
Or be stomped on.
