True tale

(All throughout the day
kookaburras in eucalyptus.
From the headland trees
Brush back like combed hair.)
I tell Mum, should ever I take
A wife
She would certainly always wonder about me,
That way.

If I had a wife I'd call her
Wild strawberry.
