Lines about Margate

Let me tell you lines I've collected
About where I live in Queensland;

For one thing there are barely trees at all

And I never liked the people,

But there is the ocean to swim in.

I am unable or unwilling to appreciate it.

This is what it's like living in Margate.

So what if I'm in my head,

And there's no rescuing me there?

Where will my next day come from?

There is no love in my home that counteracts

The nervousness occuring during

This awful feeling. There is just this;

I'm who I am and can never change.

It doesn't matter where I live.

I'll always be sad. You will always be dead.

Most powerful piece which your words brings me back to my own theory of Reincarnation, for some reason I'm always strange around the sea, and under trees, I find my ora is different, maybe you've had bad experiences in a different life perhaps? What a wonderful discussion, I suspect I'm going to get you to reflect a massive amount by my words today 🤣  your last line is a kudos because it works literally and in metaphor. 🌹

SH isn't something literal and metaphoric just metaphoric? Also, that's the start to a poem, strange around the sea and under trees.

Metaphoric is when you speak of an arguement without saying it, literally for me is when it is obvious, yes I believe I must have been a sailor or a mermaid and or even Dante Alighieri, or even Einstein? Who can know. 🤣 Amazing our chats.  🌹

I wonder if your Margate is the same or similar to my Margate .. sandy beaches & amusement arcades .. with a few tattoo parlours scattered around between the Turkish barbers & nail salons .. Oh' and candyfloss stalls & donkey rides .. it has been years since I've been back there .. and I'm sure its because I always felt like an alien there with different dreams, needs and values .. A deep poem today Rory and certainly one to ponder more deeply when I get home later .. Neville

The sad and the dead are always together.
You still can rescue yourself.   B

Queensland   Margate   Anywhere
when we exist trapped on the inside
The outside is irrelevant. I know this too. X
