Poem -
Marching on Bone Spurs
okay maybe,
if he had just been forced
to march
on his bone spurs for one
or two years ..
the world today would be,
a better place ..
where honour, justice, truth
and morality
might still command respect
and retain that
certain something that which
without doubt,
once made decent folk proud ..

I seem to be finding something that manages to horrify me a bit more everyday. Worrying times. Unsafe times. And the thing is, the most horrifying thing of all, is that I can see why Reform (and the like) is gaining ground. I can understand why people are saying they will vote for them ... I won't be, but I can see why others would. Weak governments and nations open the doors for radical politicians that feed false dreams to angry people. It happened with Hitler and the Nazi party ... and we all know how that turned out!
Its a funny old world innit eh' .. We seem to have three or possibly even four power crazed narcissists being allowed to run riot @ the moment and I truly fear for all the rest of us .. Ta for seeing it my way Tina .. Oh' there may be room in my bunker for a little un when its finished by the way .. x
There was a poem that I read once. It was written like .... something was happening but it didn't other me so I did nothing. And through the poem there was more happening but still the protagonist did nothing as it didn't really impact them. And in the end something horrendous was happening but it was so huge by then that it was too late to do anything. I think k it was about the Nazis but I cant be sure. Good poem ... and relevant to today's world.Â
And, yes, there are a few crazies that could end this world tomorrow, all said and done .... very frightening times xx
