Dawn is nearly here

Dawn is nearly here

Hesitantly, in the dark, I touch
wood? Pushing, it slowly moves,
one still side and one turns away…

I realise it is a door, never locked or fully
closed. I step
over the threshold into a dark hall,
but feel

the house welcomes me
(a whisper from the left ”are you
with me?” From the right a scream:
“Mine ! “ – out of five doors (a candle has
been lit in the meanwhile)
two of me stare/glare at me.

A hall opening to world behind me,
five rooms around (in one someone is
loudly fast asleep).

An instinct to run is stiffled,
turns into my name and a sixfold
“Yes?”

I was scattered, unconnected eyes peering out
into the darkness.
Just standing here, breathing, I watch
a chair growing out of my breath in hall’s middle and I sit,
silent, eyes closed, listening, feeling
all doors open now, widely, welcome,
rogue me’s seeking centre.

The house is telling us, you all belong here,
in my hall.

Be one (as you are), riding the rhythm.

Light some sage and sit as one
in my chair,
see, dawn is nearly here…

The Dawn is the best part of the Day. I am always awake at this time to see the sunrise. Nice Verse.

Hi, Jaco, aye the dawn is good, means new chances are ready to be found... Alas, most days I just scatter parts of me all over again... 🤣
