1190 Broken Hearted Lane
My heart that I call a house shelters all my feelings inside;
it protects me when it rains just like tears flowing from my eyes.
The front door is open but no one has yet to enter.
In this neighborhood of love my house is right in the center.
The front Yard is so pretty it has flowers & it’s painted.
How can it something be so beautiful yet has no one to help maintain it?
Everything that it needs to have, it has that and more,
yet everyday finding a live in occupant becomes more and more of a chore.
It has all of the amenities’ and features that so many crave,
But maybe the selling price is too high so they overlook it every day.
They rather go the cheap route than to purchase something with value.
As to why it remains unsold that I have no clue.
I fear that too many years will pass and it will still remain empty.
Growing dust as it looks older not just a single cobweb but plenty.
Who will be the one to see the true beauty of this property?
It must be someone who isn’t willing to settle for mediocrity.
But for now It sits on top of a hill still vacant and looking very plain
In the cul de sac of 1190 Broken Hearted Lane.
